So off we went to Keady in Northern Ireland (I think it’s Armagh), yesterday to shot the video for the Chrome Horse song ‘Death Row’.. It all went swimmimgly!

We were all finished by about 4 which was unbelieveable – but believeable when you remember the song is 2 mins 30 secs. Hope the finished video looks as weird as I hope! Masks, skulls and all!

I really like the shots we got in the ladies! Great old hall, great stage! Brilliant grand piano..

I have to thank the Chrome Horse for giving me this opportunity especially Tony who let me blindfold him and put him in a cardboard box!

  • Ready for the next one – baseball and video!

Today is a good day! The new baseball season starts for the Giants and I can already feel my insomnia kick in!

Filming the IYMA’s (Irish Youth Music Awards) in the Village went well. Some fantastic acts with MGRB taking the crown.. fair play to them! Met some great young bands on Saturday. Its great to see such enthusiasm about music that I think a lot of people tend to lose as they get older. – Now all I have to do is start going throught the 22hours of recorded footage 🙂 I love my Z1!

Next project is filming the video for Chrome Horse! Have everything sorted and me and my trusty (what title will I give him?) associate Joe are ready and raring to go! Filming is now just ten days away.

Finally started doing the new Nessy Productions website so that should be up in the not too distant future www.nessyproductions.eu

That’s it for now – two and a bit sleeps til Paris!

First off – Happy birthday to my biggest little brother Barry who is ancient today ! hehe!!

Anyway, so quite a productive week so far. Got all my college assignments finished YAY! just in time .. Looking at the Buffy Website now there is a lot more I could have done and some bits I should have put in – ah well I’ll know not to next time.

Just finished doing some artwork for Pills For My Nerves who have a new single coming out.. happy with the results – I’m also going through the photos from my recent photoshoot with Hombre – Will have some up on Flickr later tonight! The Hombre website made by Nessy Productions 🙂 is almost nearly ready to go online too…

This Saturday sees me and my crew of trusty manhelpers, film the proceedings at the Irish Youth Music Awards! Should be a great day – looking forward to it but really nervous that I don’t screw anything up!

I also met with Tony from the band Chrome Horse last week – we’re going to be making a video for a song called ‘Death Row’ at the end of the month.

Finally… seven nights til I’m going to Paris!!! As well as the Exhibition in the Louvre David LaChapelle has an exhibition on at the Monnaie De Paris.. I did my assignment last week for Media Analysis with my favourite trekkie, Ciaran Flanagan – should post it up here – We compare an image of George Lucas with David LaChapelle’s Courtney Love: Pieta

  • Yay its Spring!

Had a good day today, went to the Hugh Lane gallery in Dublin, remembered why I love Paris so much! Had a look at some works by Degas, Manet, Osbourne.. really liked Sean Scully’s work especially ‘Sandra’ and I, of course must mention the unbelieveable work by Yinka Shonibare, inspired by Gulliver’s Travels.

I also bought Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray so a bit of an arty day all round.

I got confirmation also about my show on DCUFm. So now I’m trying to come up with a name for it.. currently at number one is… NessyTime, like HammerTime ?! I’m also going to be looking for some fellow DCU students to do some bits on the show…  I’m going to make the show a Nessy Production for DCU Fm!

Also on the Nessy Productions front, I’ve been working like a maniac story boarding m first music video.. and before this one has even been started I’ve been asked to do a second one 🙂 So one is for a rock band and the second for a Hip Hop emcee !  Looking forward to both!

Thanks for having a reading, why don’t you subscribe?
