It’s the time of year when the end of year mashups start hitting the internet, I’ve been looking forward to DJ Earworm’s mix of the top Billboard hits. This one by Daniel Kim is quite a treat. It features over 50 ‘hits’ from this year and some really good mixes.
Daniel normally creates mash up cover versions himself, you can find out more on Facebook. You can also download this from Daniel.

The evenings are long and dark, perfect time for all you budding remixers to get stuck into something new.
Irish born and raised, though now living in Brussels, aidan is a singer songwriter who double jobs as a member of Wallis Bird’s band and he’s also one of the most talented people I know but please don’t tell him that.
Anyway, aidan managed to get himself 500 fans on Facebook over the weekend so he has decided to get three tracks from his album remixed. What are you waiting for? Getting cracking!
Here are the tracks, download links and some videos to accompany them.

Darren Reid is Boy Kid Cloud who makes melodic electronica and he has revealed a cover of one of his hero’s tracks, Prince’s ‘I Would Die 4 U’. It really is quite something, he manages to retain the old school Prince sound but brings it bang up to date with his excellent production skills.
Mr Reid also released his ‘Better Version of Me’ EP earlier this year. I’m liking what I’m hearing.
