I was on LMFM: ‘heartache of not coming home for Christmas’

I was a guest this week on LMFM, our local radio station in Ireland. The regular presenter, Michael Reade, was being covered by an old friend, Ken Murray, which was a pleasant surprise.

Being in London this Christmas sucks. A Lot. Not just for me but for a lot of people. Keep an eye for a blog post over the next few days.

Have a listen. Thanks to Marie, Chris and of course, Ken for having me on.

The London Ear 322 // A Festive Irish Special

It’s really been a shitty year, if you’re lucky enough to be able to spend it with loved ones, cherish every second.

I won’t be home this year thanks to Christmas, in fact, it’s a year since I’ve been in Ireland. It’s the longest time I’ve ever been away from home.

Being able to share an hour of Irish festive music with you felt more special, an honour. It’s amazing that all these talented people come from our little island. I can’t wait to hear them all play live.

Hope you all have a safe Christmas, thank you for listening all year, it truly means a lot.
