    Free Music 9/10/2012: Wretch 32

Wretch32I totally forgot to recommend some free music yesterday, so here it is, better late than never. A couple of weeks ago I had the priviledge of chatting to Wretch 32 and we spoke about the importance of free music and giving away his ‘Wretchercise’ Mixtape for free. So here it is.

To find out more about what Wretch is up up head over to his website.

San Francisco Giants: E-40: Win Something (Update SF Giants Style!)

Every Postseason needs a song. In 2010, the unofficial San Francisco Giants anthem was Askon with Don’t Stop Believing. For the second time in three years, the Giants are about to start Game 1 in the first round of the NLCS. Tonight, they take on the Cincinnati Reds.

The prospect of a BayBridge World Series is go! As the Oakland A’s are through to the postseason too.

To reach the next stage, all the Giants have to do is win three out of the next five games. Here’s this years anthem, E-40 with Win Something. It will be interesting to see if it takes off like DSB did as it’s not as immediately sing-along-able. Either way, we’re in for a great couple of weeks of baseball.

I’ve got my Barry Bonds Sweatshirt and my 2010 orange rally rag ready for tonight. First pitch 0237.. yip, A.M.

EDIT: E-40 has just been challenged by an opponet.. SFGiants Style!

Skyfall Movie Trailer – now with added Adele

Here’s the latest Trailer for Skyfall featuring the new Bond theme tune from Adele. To be honest, I wouldn’t be a fan of Adele normally and her acky broken heart songs but I think this is probably the best I’ve heard her vocals, even though there is a dodgy ‘fall’ in there. *Shudder*

Not long to wait now, James Bond’s latest adventure in Skyfall will be in cinemas in three week’s time.

Tune of the Week 06/10/2012: Lethal Dialect

Over the past two years Lethal Dialect has established himself as one of the faces of Irish rap. WIth two critically acclaimed albums, LD has helped bring Irish hiphop and rap into the consciousness of many who would previously been unaware of the healthy Irish hiphop and rap scene. (Read my review of his debut here). I had LD into DCUfm for Culture Cafe about 18 months ago, we’ll have to sort out to catch up with him soon.

Have a listen and if you like what you hear, you can buy this track on Bandcamp. This week’s Tune of the week is Lethal Dialect’s Theme.
