So there was a bit of a blackout yesterday and a lot of people didn’t and still don’t understand what was happening. Internet neutrality is so important to everyone who uses the internet. There’s a thing called Freedom of Speech, we all need to make sure that our internet remains to be an open form of communication where we can access information and express ourselves clearly and freely. Tune of The Week 13/01/2012: Sound of Guns
I missed Sound of Guns last time they were in Dublin. If I remember correctly they were supporting The View, however with a new record, an eight EP just out, the Liverpool lads are heading to back to Dublin on March 14th in The Academy 2. Behaviourism 101 (video)
Yes, the blog has been a little quite lately because I’ve been in college finishing my degree. It’s so close to the end now, I can smell it. Anyway here’s what myself and my group did for our E-learning assignment. We had to try and explain behaviourism.. I wrote the script, recorded and edited the audio and did all the video editing. Let me know what you think of it. (Yes, I know I can’t do accents!)

Free Music Monday 9/01/2012: Simon Fagan
Last year Simon Fagan upped and left Ireland and headed off to Berlin, along the way though he started writing about some of his adventures. In a nice little note included in this ‘Unplugged’ download, Simon tells us that he is currently working on a new album which is due out sometime this year. He’s also planning to do some touring in Europe and in the US. The ‘Unplugged’ EP is available for download, for free from Sian Records. Here’s a video for one of the tracks, ‘Tomorrow’s Another Day’.
