Someone had this pasted on their Facebook wall and it’s quite brilliant. It covers the year in cinema. Sit back with a cuppa and watch for seven minutes. Amazing editing and patience to do this. A full list of what’s used in the montage can be seen here

Melanie C for Dublin’s Olympia
Poptastic news reaches my desk today that Melanie C will be playing The Olympia on March 5th 2012. Not sure if Mel has played in Dublin since a rescheduled date in May 2001, that’s the last time your humble scribe saw the Spicy one at work. Anyway, Melanie who has been enjoying considerable success all over mainland Europe will be promoting her fifth album, yes, fifth, The Sea. Tickets go on sale on Friday December 23 and are priced from 21.50e including booking fee. Thanks Santa! Here’s the first single taken from ‘The Sea’.

Class A’z: Honest Bullshit (Video/Free Music)
I’ve been a fan of these guys for as long as I can genuinely remember. Absolutely adore the guys, lovely people and they’re sh1thot at the auld hiphop. I love how they write relevant lyrics for now and are documenting what’s actually going on in the country. And very importantly, they manage to do it without losing their sense of humour. This Class A’z track features Nucentz, Terawritz and Redzer and is available as a free download from http://www.terawrizt.com/shop
