The nice people at Universal Music have given me some copies of Kate Voegele’s latest CD, Gravity Falls. I loved having the opportunity to interview Kate, she’s really a sweetheart. (The interview will be up in the next day or two I’ve been off busy interviewing some more awesome acts – stay tuned)
As well as being a musician Kate also acts in One Tree Hill, where she plays Mia and gets to play some of her own songs! Pretty cool eh? Ah yes, the Autumn equinox, nothing to look forward to but snow, cold and snow.. oh and Culture Night on Friday and Ulster Bank Theatre Festival and lots more arts and culture events taking place over the next few months. 
Ireland’s first Burlesque Festival takes place this weekend, September 23- 25 in Dublin City Centre. This sounds like a great weekend for fans of burlesque and for newbies and it’s a great opportunity to find out why it has got so popular over the last few years!
