To celebrate what would have been Freddie Mercury’s 65th birthday the doodlers at Google have come up with their best doodle yet. It will be twenty years since Freddie died in November (where did the time go?) and while medical advances mean people with HIV and Aids can live longer and healthier lives, it still doesn’t have the magic cure. Have a look at the charity MercuryPhoenixTrust.

Annie comes to The Gaiety Theatre
There won’t be a Hi de Hi to be heard in The Gaiety when Su Pollard heads up the cast of Annie for a two week stint.Annie tells the story of a … (As I’m writing this my OH is telling me the entire story of Annie scene by scene.. pity I don’t have a video camera handy), Annie is stuck in an orphanage run by Miss Hannigan. The ever so loaded Mr Warbucks, may or may not come to her rescue.
Su Pollard (Hi De Hi) stars as Miss Hannigan and David McAlister (Eastenders/Hollyoaks) is Mr Warbucks in this Playhouse Production straight from the West End. You’ll hear ‘Tomorrow’ ‘Easy Street and of course the brilliant hard knock life’, the song that even made it into Austin Powers. (Everytime I hear it I always think.. ‘This is for all my homies in Bruges‘)

Three Muskateers in 3D hits screens in October
A new Three Muskateers (in 3D) movie is about to hit our screens. The film will open here on October 12 (How many of you were singing the theme tune to Muskahounds during that?)Going by the trailer it looks full on swashbuckling extravangza with swords and funny French clothes.
Look at this for cast and crew, the amount of talent is a bit ridiculous.
