  • Take That: When We Were Young Video

Take That When We Were YoungAs predicted in my Progressed review, Take That have released ‘When We Were Young’ as a single. The video is a little bit jarring, shot in an empty Wembley Arena and the black and white is strange as the actual tour itself was filled with so much colour.

This is a great track to round off the Progress(ed) album and tour. With Robbie Williams’ popularity and his amazing performances  after the tour though, I’m not entirely sure if this won’t be the last Take That single for a while, while the Robster rebuilds his solo career.

  • Blink 182: New Song ‘Up All Night’ Premiered

blink182World famous radio station KROQ have just premiered Blink 182‘s new single, their first new material since 2003.

The band and promoters, it has to be said, caused many heads to be scratched with their ‘Will they play? Won’t they play?’ at festivals this summer, including Oxegen. Blink 182 were removed from the bill shortly after it was announced. Well, Travis was busy enough anyway, off making adverts with Katie Taylor and releasing his own album ‘Give the Drummer Some’.

You can listen to ‘Up All Night’ on KROQ’s website or you can go straight to Soundcloud.
