Being snowed in for a third week here in Ireland is something I cant remember happening before, so watching an Armageddon type end of world disaster movie, may not be the brightest of ideas.
Directed by Roland Emmerich, 2012 in set in a world where Danny Glover in President of the USA, wonder what Riggs would have thought of that.
The similarity between real world personalities and movies characters is sometimes too apparent, The Russian premier with his bushy eyebrows, the Angel Merkel type German leader but this also gives the film a little more depth as we know these people, so maybe it could happen.
Sometimes you have to have a sense of humour.. Seeing has the Northern Hemisphere has turned into a big white block of ice This week’s Tune of The Week is Vanilla Ice: Ice Ice Baby.
Seeing as the Record Company are being eejits and not allowing anyone to embed the track here’s a live version..

I Skyped my buddy Tim who is living in San Francisco yesterday. His first proper earthquake happened. Seemingly he didn’t feel it. Yesterday was a 3.8 earthquake today there was a 4.1.
Got me thinking about the 1989 World series, my beloved San Francisco Giants were in a Battle of the Bay with Oakland. There was an Earthquake during Game 3.. here’s a little video I found of it, really good, extremely interesting.
