  • Tune Of The Week 15/10/09

    Dance the way I feel

I haven’t done this in a good while.. as I previously mentioned I have been on crutches for 22 weeks now… which has meant that I was laid up for a bit and somehow have only discovered these guys now.

Ou est le Swimming Pool are a 3 piece from the UK and are supporting La Roux in November in the Academy so I’ll get a look.

This is a synth laden track with an almost shouty chorus… and is quite the ear worm! Hear it once and it will be going round your head all day!

I played this track tonight on Culture Cafe.. This weeks tune of the week is Ou Est Le Swimming Pool’s Dance The Way I Feel.

  • Jack Rabbit Slims Artwork

    jack rabbit frontx copy

I was a little busy bee today and amongst other things, did some artwork for Jack Rabbit Slims, a band from Athlone.

After going through the bands original ideas I thought that some of  the photos they had given me didnt quite gel all together so I came up with this.

The photo the band had given me had already been changed to sepia so I thought that this was the best option.

Jack Rabbit Slims will launch their new record, ‘Slim Pickings’ soon.
