Nessy Productions has been responsible for the development of www.irishyouthmusicawards.ie which went online today.
The design is quite simple, we wanted to keep it in the style of the CD released for last years winning county, Donegal, and with the Corporate brochure design, (both of which were also designed by us)which is being used to try to get Corporate Sponsorship.
The Irish Youth Music Awards or The IYMA’s, as they are known, are a series of gigs run by Youth Work Ireland and Project Director Dermot Lambert for kids between the ages of 12 and 19.
Through a series of heats the kids pick an act to represent their county in the final. This years final is being held on April 4th in the Village, Wexford St, Dublin. Nessy Productions is delighted to say that we will be filming the event.
As the music is the main focus of the overall project, we felt it is important that the music recorded for an album by last years winners, Donegal, was included at all times. So we worked on the website in frames, not totally ideal but this would bypass a problem of pop ups or having a full flash site.
…. nessy out!
