Tune of the Week 21/05/2013: Harts – The Music

HartsHarts has been featured on the pages of this blog before for his track All Too Real. Finally, solo artist Harts, has released his debut EP. The five track EP includes All Too Real but also includes a track I’ve played all week, ‘The Music’.

The EP is out a little while now and it gets better with every listen and The Music is a fantastic track. Indie, a little bit dancey and very catchy. Me likes! Harts is Darren Hart to his folks, a Australian guy, signed to Island. The EP was produced by Harts and was mixed by Lars Stalfors (The Mars Volta).

While you’re here you might as well listen to the full EP.

Tune of the Week 31/08/2012: Harts

HartsHarts is a solo artist from Melbourne Australia, whose music has been described as ‘fusing Indie Rock with Post-Disco, Electro and Funk, with emphasis on explosive energy and contagious melodies’. He plays all the instruments himself and his first single ‘Back to the Shore’ was also picked up by the legendary Triple J in Sydney.

‘All Too Real’ is his first proper single and is taken from his forthcoming EP ‘Offtime’ which was mixed by Lars Stalfors of The Mars Volta.

I’m really liking this single and going on what ‘Back to the Shore’ sounds like also, it bodes well for the EP. This week’s Tune of the Week is Harts and ‘All Too Real’
