Culture Cafe on RTE 2XM Show 108: 14/08/2013

I’ve been a bit bad with keeping the podcast and the blog updated over the past few weeks, all shall be revealed on these virtual pages soon.

Here’s the playlist and podcast from Show 108 on RTE 2XM which features chats with Hozier who has an awesome EP available for download (I must review it). I also had the opportunity to chat to Orla Martin, which for me was a strange experience. I’ve known Orla for a while now but never knew that she was involved with poetry, open mic nights or indeed that she was a singer-songwriter herself. Strange auld world!

Here’s what happened:

1. DJ Flip & Freezemaster Slick: Crossroads
2. The Glimmermen: This Town
3. CPNHGN: When Nobody’s Talking
4. Chat with Hozier
4. Hozier: Take Me To Church
5. Youngblood Hawke: Glacier
6. Chat with Orla Martin ( Part 1)
7. Orla Martin: Strawberry Smile
8. Chat with Orla Martin (Part 2)
9. Luxury: Never Love
10. The Late David Turpin: A Warning To The Curious
11. Gareth Moore: Breaking Ballets

Thanks to my guests and thanks to you for listening. Don’t forget you can listen to the full show again on the RTE Player. The show is broadcast every Wednesday at 1400 GMT and is repeated every Sunday at 2100 GMT.
