  • Backstage on DCUfm : 27/10/2011

BACKSTAGEMost of Thursday’s show included chats about what to actually call the show, little did I know there was a show on DCUfm called Set to Shuffle so calling another show The Shuffle was a tad too much for me. So deliberations took place with the news team and anyone else that came into the studio as to what I actually should name it. The two options were ‘Backstage’ or ‘The Nessy Monster’, it seemed to be pretty much 50/50 what to call it, the blokes in the room favouring Backstage but the ladies preferring ‘The Nessy Monster’. I think I’m going to go with Backstage…

    Here’s what happened:

    1. Jennifer Lopez: Papi (It’s The DJ Kue Instrumental!)

    2. The Subways: We Don’t Need Money to have a good time

    3. Miles Kane: Rearrange (Skreamix)

    4. Ram’s Pocket Radio: Dietar Rams has got a pocket radio

    5. Twin Atlantic: Free: Dan the Automator remix

    6. Rizzle Kicks: When I was a Younster

    7. Maverick Sabre: I Need

    8. Chat with More Than Conquerors

    9. More Than Conquerors: Bear Knuckle

    10. The Naked and Famous: Youngblood

    11. Royseven: You Say We Say

    12. The Minutes Fleetwood:

    13. Nirvana: Smells like Teen Spirit

So Backstage will be on DCUfm every Thursday at 1700, next Thursday will feature interviews with Royseven and Miles Kane.

I’m going to add this week’s interview with More Than Conquerors later.
