At the beginning of 2011, I made a promise to myself to try and see as many new bands as I possibly could in 2011. One of the first bands that were on my list were Chapel Club, so when they played Academy 2 in Dublin, I jumped at the chance to see them and their dark eighties indie sound.
It seem’s a lot can happen in eighteen months, tracks like Surfacing and All the Eastern Girls have been replaced by a new sound.
The band have been kind enough to give a free download of their new single ‘Sleep Alone’ on their website through Soundcloud and have also given a preview of three new tracks which will be on their new album ‘Good Together’, which will released later this year. A nice new electro feel to these tracks.
