Over the past while you’ll have noticed that I’ve been posting a bit less than normal. That’s down to good ole college and being about ten days away from my last exam for my degree. Once I’m done, I’ll be throwing myself back into the blog and to everyone who has sent me a CD over the past while, I will give each and every one a mention, so thanks in advance for your patience.
The last assignment I’ve had to hand in was 10-20 second sting / corporate identity. Here’s what I did..
So Friday sees the start of a new year and a new decade. Thank God 2009 is over, I don’t think I’m the only one who thinks its crap.
I spent a month in hospital, thanks to a blood clot just below my knee that really wasn’t treated properly at the start. It turned into a DVT and I end up on crutches for a staggering 29 weeks. I’m off them 4 weeks today, I’m still getting used to walking around.
So when I was feeling sorry for myself the rest of the population of Ireland were losing their jobs and going on the dole. When I was 18, I too joined the dole queue, the country was also in a pretty crap state but people still had hope. This time round though people seem extremely down.
A lot of things have happened this decade, looking back at world events it was the decade that changed the world. 9/11 sorted that, along with 7/7 bombings in London in 2005.Since the guy tried to blow up a plane on Christmas Day, we’re supposedly going to have to strip down to our underpants to board a plane.
I’m writing this on my blackberry, phones could just about SMS a decade ago. Now we’re always connected, if I didn’t have the BBerry I’d be completely lost.
