Editors: The Making of the Weight of Your Love – Documentary

Grab yourself a cuppa, sit down and watch this documentary about, as the title says ‘The Making of the Weight of Your Love’. The album itself will be released worldwide on July 1st through Play it Again Sam. If you’re like me though, you can listen to the album stream on iTunes now.

The documentary gives a great insight to the album and answers some questions about the departure of Chris Urbanowicz in April last year.

Enjoy!

Editors: A Ton of Love (Video)

No sooner than Zane Lowe declared Editors’ A Ton of Love, ‘Hottest Record In The World’ this evening, then the band waste no time in revealing a video to accompany the track. It will be released on June 24th in the UK and is taken from the band’s fourth album ‘The Weight Of Your Love’, which will be released by Play It Again Sam on July 1st.

The album was recorded in Nashville and produced by Jacquire King (Tom Waits, Of Monsters And Men, Kings Of Leon) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, The Horrors, Arcade Fire). Since Chris Urbanowicz left the band last year, it will feature new Editors, Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams.

If you preorder the album now you will get an instant download of ‘A Ton of Love’. Preorder deets for regular and deluxe releases can be found on editorsofficial.com

So what do you think of the song? I like it, has a certain 1980’s feel to it.
