  • aidan: Bells of the Morning (video)

It gives me great pleasure in being able to show you the new video from aidan. This is the lead track from his current album ‘Le grand discours’, a review of which shall be on the virtual pages of this very blog as soon as I get my thesis done. Sit back and enjoy the wonder of stop motion and the wonder of aidan’s 360 degree somersault! Tout fait extraordinaire!

  • aidan & the italian weather ladies: Live in Dublin

aidan and the italian weather ladiesSometimes you have to give your mates a plug. aidan is one of my oldest friends and one of the best musicians I know.

Since he went to live in Belgium, he has been building up a nice musical career for himself. As well as his solo stuff, he is also part of Wallis Bird‘s band.

aidan and his Belgian band, The Italian Weather Ladies play the Cobblestone, Smithfield, Dublin, next Friday, December 17th . Doors are at 8pm and admission is a measly 8 euro.

Support on the evening will be provided by Sligo songwriter Kevin Ryan (aka to sing to ghosts – www.myspace.com/kevinryanmusic), so get in early!
