I saw Joe Janiak open for Benjamin Francis Leftwich in Whelan’s and loved him. He has a really interesting vocal style and I love how he moves when he’s playing. He looks like he’s really enjoying it!
So I thought that it would be good to tell you about his free acoustic EP. It features ‘Beating Heart’, which I saw him perform last week and also an absolutely delightful cover of The Supreme’s You Can’t Hurry Love.
All the EP will cost you is an email address: I think it’s yummy! Enjoy!
I totally forgot to recommend some free music yesterday, so here it is, better late than never. A couple of weeks ago I had the priviledge of chatting to Wretch 32 and we spoke about the importance of free music and giving away his ‘Wretchercise’ Mixtape for free. So here it is.
To find out more about what Wretch is up up head over to his website.

Over the past while, I’ve featured some music from Kodaline, from their current ‘Kodaline EP’ and also a remix of Everything Everything‘s new single ‘Cough Cough’. Today we get the best of both worlds as EE have remixed Kodaline’s All I Want.
It’s quite a daring remix especially when you hear the gentle tenderness of the original but really I wouldn’t expect anything less from Everything Everything. I’ve heard the original ‘All I Want’ on BBC Radio 1, XFM and yesterday saw the video on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch. The band are currently on tour in the UK with We Are Augustines. The Kodaline EP is out now.

So, as you know every Monday I recommend some free music. Yes, totally legit tunes for free! This week’s offering comes from the rather cleverly named ‘Morning After Phil’, who hail from the metropolis of Clondalkin in Dublin. Adam Carberry, Phil Hannigan and Adam Brown have decided to give us their second E.P. ‘Five Months Off’ for our listening pleasure! Thanks very much guys!
