The London Ear on RTÉ 2XM // Show 181 with Matthew from Tayne / Sweat Threats

So, finally January is over and we’re into February.

Chat with Matthew from Tayne and Sweat Threats

On today’s show, I spoke to musician and tattoo artist, Matthew Sutton about this musical project Tayne. Tayne released a single ‘Sacrifice’ that I’ve been playing on the radio. They’ve also been doing some gigs and will head across the Irish Sea to do some shows in two weeks time.

As if that wasn’t enough, Matthew is also a member of Sweat Threats, who released their new single, ‘Pop My Cherry’, yesterday. Also in the band is another previous guest on The London Ear, Swimmers Jackson.

Where do they get the time and energy?

You can find out more about Tayne on Facebook and Twitter.
You can find out about Sweat Threats on Facebook and Twitter also. Fancy that!

The London Ear on RTÉ // Show 179 with Garrett from Track Dogs

The London Ear on RTÉ // Show 179 with Garrett from Track Dogs

It was a weird weird week. Today’s show was definitely a celebration of Irish music. I spoke to Garrett Wall from Track Dogs, had the first play of Bayonets’ new single ‘The Old Coast’ and unfortunately, we got to celebrate the life of the late Dolores O’Riordain. Met her once, we were on the same flight to LAX, got chatting waiting for our bags. Remind me to tell you that story sometime.

Chat with Garrett Wall from Track Dogs

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t see Garrett Wall posters promoting his gigs in Dublin. He’s been a stalwart of the Irish music scene. Garrett has been living in Madrid for a number of years, it was great to chat about the Madrid music scene as well as Track Dogs’ upcoming trip to London for St Patrick’s Day.

You can find out more about Track Dogs, you can check out their website, Facebook and Twitter.
