Somewhere between a hurling game and a football game today in Croke Park, Kells heroes, Ham Sandwich, played a few tunes accompanied by non other than funnyman, Fred Cooke. If that wasn’t enough the boxer, Bernard Dunne tried to get Podge to do a duet as gaeilge. Gawd bless his cotton socks.
Sorry the video wasn’t closer, it was filmed from the Davin stand, or as I still prefer calling it, The Canal End.
Finally, it’s here! I’ve been talking about doing this for a while and eventually got to record it on October 22nd this year. Like it says on the tin, it’s the bus journey from Dublin to Kells from the front seat of a good ole Bus Eireann bus.
So I was really busy last week and to put up my Tune of The week so This week I’ll do two!
Starting off, My Tune of the moment is the new single from Kells band, Little Palace. I know these guys a hell of a long time and I’m not lying or being nice to them when I say that they actually are extremely talented. Martin Quinn is a genius in my opinion!
So the single is called ‘Eviction’ out now! The new album is called Invitation Time!
