The London Ear on RTE 2XM // Show 122 with Brian Mackey // July 2 2016

Over the past while, I’ve been hearing from more people of Irish descent from around the world. So I’ve decided that I’ll feature some of them on The London Ear. I wasn’t 100% sure of Brian’s heritage but with a name like Mackey, I couldn’t be too far off.

Brian Mackey‘s family went to America in the 1920’s, as many did. They settled and made their lives there. Brian is a musician and has song ‘Are You Listening?’ has had chart success in Germany recently.

    Here’s what happened:
    1. Beck: Wow
    2. DJ Shadow feat Run The Jewels: Nobody Speak
    3. MNEK: At Night (I Think About You)
    4. Brian Mackey: Medication
    5. Chat with Brian Mackey Part 1
    6. Brian Mackey: America
    7. Chat with Brian Mackey Part 2
    8. Brian Mackey: Are You Listening?
    9. Future Fears: Call My Name
    10. Mabel: Thinking of You
    11. Bastille: Good Grief
