For your convenience you can now subscribe to the Nessycast through iTunes. What’s the Nessycast? It’s an infrequent podcast where I chat to people from the world of music, arts and crafts…all that kinda jazz!
Previously artists I’ve chatted to include: Nina Hynes, Math from Dodgy and Jamie Lawson. If you would like to get involved email me at nessy @ nessymon.com (take out the gaps)
Here’s a link to iTunes or you can use an RSS using this feed.
Singer Nina Hynes has been a familiar name on the Irish music scene since her debut release in 1999.
The Dubliner who now lives in Berlin is trying to finance her album through fundit.ie Through the magic of skype I caught up with Nina yesterday to chat about ‘The Goldmine Project‘. We also chatted about her need to make music and how parenthood has changed and influenced her music.
Fundit.ie is an amazing way for artists to get support from benefactors for their project. What’s better since this interview yesterday Nina’s fundit has gone from 83% to 92%. If you can, help the arts, donate a little.
(edit: Please remember that if the 100% isn’t reached, the artist gets NOTHING!!)
Berlin resident, Dublin native, Nina Hynes has launched a Fundit campaign to record her new album Goldmine. If you can spare a tenner.. do it!
