  • Eurovision Party at Pantibar

    It’s ten days to the musical feast that is Eurovision and there’s no better place to watch the extravaganza than at Pantibar. The Eurovision Party is brought to you by the same peeps who orgainzed the now Nationally known Poorhouse, so fun frolicks and all sorts of mischief is expected. 🙂

  • Poorhouse: Cuid B

    Poorhouse BI love the idea of this. I have been known myself to do a sean nós version of ‘Into the Groove’ and ‘Losing my Religion’. (Even funnier when done while working in a bar in London).

    The tagline has to be one of the best around: Party like its 1845!

    Here’s the blurb:

    The second Poorhouse takes place on Friday 28 January from 9pm til late in Pantibar, Capel Street in Dublin.

    The first one was a mixture of “traditional” performance from haunting sean nós to a trad version of “Like a Virgin” and a leaving cert irish listening test.

    The next one will have poetry, song, performance and set dancing and already has a huge list of performers signed up. It should be great.

  • Pantibar Eurovision Party

    On Friday afternoon I gave my friend a hand filming this. I did the camera work. It’s not bad considering all Niamh’s bits were done in one angle, one take, two minutes in and out.

    She was really nice too, hope she does well.
