There’s no denying that over the past couple of years, Irish hiphop has been getting a little more attention and quite rightly so. What has emerged are sonically, a talented bunch MCs and producers and visually, this has given up and coming film makers the opportunity to make some kick ass videos.
Here’s the new track from Rob Kelly, ‘Jack The Ripper’, which was produced by Scimon Tist. Guy Richie should be well chuffed with the ‘Snatch’ inspired video, directed by Jonathan Lambert. As well as that, not only was the track mixed and mastered by Terawritz, he also gets in front of the camera for a bit of acting for the vid. Talented bunch, this lot!
There’s so much free music available now, free legal music, that it can be quite easy to get caught up with downloading large amounts of music and still miss out on the real gems. This is why every Monday, I try to pick out some of the best free music around that I can find.
I have to say I really enjoyed the chats I had with Rob Kelly and Johnny Cronin on today’s show, make sure you check out their new singles.
