As a San Francisco Giants fan, this week has been awesome. The team have left the opposition in the dust and are now ten games ahead of the Dodgers. Things seem to be just coming right for the Giants at the right time, Buster Posey, Angel Pagan and now Pablo Sandoval are all hitting well and Pablo hot two home runs last night as well as two three run shots in consecutive games. Defense is good and even Aubrey Huff came to the plate last night and doubled.
Life is good and now the Magic Number isn’t just falling, it’s rapidly dropping. What is the magic Number? It’s any combination of Giants Wins and Dodgers losses that mean the Giants will win the National League West. As of 16.04 GMT The Magic Number is 3.
It’s hard to believe that it’s two years since the Giants won the World Series, before that they hadn’t won one in San Francisco. Just because they won two years ago doesn’t mean there isn’t as much hype or eagerness this time round. The team know what 2010 was like, they want it again. So do I! Roll on the Postseason!
