One of the nicest guys in music, Jamie Lawson is treating us all to a nice intimate gig tonight via the interwebs, live from his house. No doubt we’ll get renditions of his current single ‘The Last Time’ and ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’, maybe just maybe, we might be lucky enough to hear some new tunes too.. Watch Live here from 7.30ish!

Tune Of The Week 08/07/2011: Jamie Lawson
Long before any of us heard ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’, Jamie Lawson came into DCUfm for a chat on my radio show and sang this ‘The Last Time’, just him and his guitar. It’s been a favourite of mine since. It was co-written by Adam Argyle who has also worked with Melanie C and Newton Faulkner and if there’s any justice in the world, this should be huge for Jamie. Such a nice guy, he deserves it and I really love this track.
