The London Ear on RTÉ 2XM // Show 162

Seeing as I was back in Ireland last week and spent most of the week preparing for next week’s show, (it’s a biggie) I decided that this week’s episode of The London Ear would feature some of the great music around right now.

So hear ye go, here’s show 162 of The London Ear, oh yeah.. my guest on next week’s episode of The London Ear is Irish Ambassador to Great Britain, Dan Mulhall. When you’re living away from home, you can miss out out some musicians that really you shouldn’t. For me, Ciaran Lavery was one and a while back a friend told me he was playing a gig in London. I was a bit gutted that I couldn’t go that night but since Ciaran released Sea Legs with Ryan Vail in April, things seem to be heading fast in a upward motion. So I thought I better grab him for The London Ear while I could.

Here’s what happened:

1. The London Ear Intro
2. The Weeknd: Can’t Feel My Face
3. Harts: Streets
4. Lake Malawi: Young Blood
5. The Harlots: On My Way
6. W I N T E R: The Sea Bites Back
7. Ciaran Lavery: Shame
8. Chat with Ciaran Lavery (Part 1)
9. Ciaran Lavery and Ryan Vail: The Colour Blue
10. Chat with Ciaran Lavery (Part 2)
11. Ciaran Lavery and Ryan Vail: The Sea At Night
12. Albert Hammand Jr: Losing Touch
13. Oh Sister: The Dales
