    Download: Bravestation – IV

BravestationBravestation are a Canadian three piece, I featured them last year when they released the track ‘Signs of the Civilised’. They’re back with a new four track release ‘IV’ which is available to buy via iTunes or download for free via Bandcamp.

The trio are brothers Devin and Derek Wilson and their buddy Jeremy Rossetti on percussion. IV is the first new material since the release of their debut album ‘Giants and Dreamers’. IV is a departure from their previous indie pop style features some dreamy celestial vocals and R&B rhythms placing them somewhere between 80s new wave and 90’s R&B pop. An interesting move.

For these ears, ‘Ancient Kids’, is the stand out track, danceable and probably the most instantly accessible track in the collection.
