Competition time, I’ve got a pair of tickets to An Inspector Calls in The Gaiety on Thursday June 7th. This production is back for a limited run in The Gaiety and is directed by Stephen Daldry, who also directed the movies, The Hours and The Reader and Billy Elliot.
This is the winner of 19 major awards, winning more than any other play ever and to be honest, I’m not surprised, I saw it the last time it was here. They use a fantastic set and use the stage brilliantly for the entirety of the play. It’s visually quite stunning.
What’s it about.. ‘When Inspector Goole arrives unexpectedly at the prosperous Birling family home, their peaceful dinner party is shattered by his investigations into the death of a young woman. His startling revelations shake the very foundations of their lives and challenge us all to examine our consciences.’ You can get ticket information here.
To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is make sure you like my Facebook page and leave a comment below, telling me if you were a Detective, what would your name be. It’s all a bit of fun, winner will be selected at random. Competition closes on Tuesday 5th June at 7pm.
Bon Chance!

Thanks to everyone who entered the competition, the winner of two tickets to An Inspector Calls at The Gaiety on Thursday night is Doug Barnes
Inspector Morse. A trilling prospect if I won it would be “deadly” if not it’s a “crime.”
I’d be Barry Shrapnel. He’s a hard-boiled private dick outta NYC, and he’s gonna kick your ass!
It’d just have people call me chief… Add to touch of intrigue to things.
