Populaire is in cinemas today, I’m not sure I’m going to get a chance to see it this weekend but I hope I will over the next week. Going on the trailer it looks like a good couple of hours.
It’s set in 1958 and is directed by Régis Roinsard, as far as I know this is his first feature length film and stars Romain Duris, who starred with Juliette Binoche in 2008’s Paris and also Bérénice Bejo who was in The Artist.
Anyone seen it yet? What do you think?
I unfortunately missed the press screening of Song For Marion but going on the trailer I can conclude two things. 1. You’ll laugh 2. You might cry too.
It’s directed by Paul Andrew Williams and stars Vanessa Redgrave and Terence Stamp alongside Christopher Eccleston and looks like it could be the first real feel good film of the year. It’s in cinemas on Feb 22nd.
I have to say I loved the singles from Delphic‘s debut album ‘Acolyte’ and ‘Doubt’ was on the playlist of a fair few radio shows I did. Now, they’re back, just after completely a short UK tour, Delphic have unveiled a ‘trailer’ for their new album ‘Collections’.
It shows a slight change in direction for the trio, which a slightly less sharp sound, a little more fuzzy and warm. I’m looking forward to hearing the full thing. The band posted on their website saying that they came up with the title before the release of Acolyte saying the ‘word describing the way we view the world, the way we live our lives, and the way we work: many small ideas making up a greater whole.’
Here’s the latest Trailer for Skyfall featuring the new Bond theme tune from Adele. To be honest, I wouldn’t be a fan of Adele normally and her acky broken heart songs but I think this is probably the best I’ve heard her vocals, even though there is a dodgy ‘fall’ in there. *Shudder*
Not long to wait now, James Bond’s latest adventure in Skyfall will be in cinemas in three week’s time.
