You know, there are two pretty mental things in this post. Point number 1. Grey’s Anatomy is on Season 9, like really? How long is ER off the telly? Point Number 2. Kodaline are on the trailer. These guys seem like they’re going to take over the planet. Jeez, I was thrilled when I saw them on Channel 4 on Sunday Brunch but a Grey’s Anatomy placement means the guys probably won’t have to slum it in hostels on their next tour, they’ll have comfy beds!

When a star of the magnitude of Arnold Schwarzenegger is releasing their autobiography and given his action hero history, it seems fitting that he would make a trailer for the book.

I was never a big James Bond fan but I’ve enjoyed Daniel Craig as 007. Here is he in the new trailer for Skyfall, the next chapter in the saga and there’s not a reigning British monarch in sight.
Directed by Sam Mendes, Skyfall is due for release in November.
Sequels make me squirm a bit. In a lot of cases, it’s really difficult to come up some as good as an original. Taken has to be in a list of films I never get bored watching, even though I know I always point out that when Liam Neeson is posing as a French cop to the bad guys, he’s speaking in English. He should be speaking in French. None the less Taken is a (literally) bloody great action movie.
I just hope Taken 2 doesn’t let the side down. It’s due for release in Irish cinemas on October 5th 2012.
Wouldn’t you hate to be on the other side of a phone call from Neeson’s character, they all seem to include the words.. ‘going to be taken’. Bummer
