Download: Last Robots – Robots Friend [Thrill Kill Rework]

ThrillKill_banner*Warning, listening to this piece of music, may seriously affect you being to sit still for any length of time whatsoever*

Being sick over Christmas n’all means I’m still going through some of my emails from before the festive season. Thankfully I did though because those nice Thrill Kill boys have sent me a link to a free download of their rework of Last Robots’ ‘Robots Friend’.

Thrill Kill are Polish Producer PiMO and vocalist John Webb and they got together in 2011 but had met in 2008 when they were working on Modfunk’s Emofunk in 2008. Lost Robots are two Warsaw DJs, Bert & Igor. Dance music from Poland is sounding good!

Get the remix for free from Soundcloud below.

EyeEmmaJediEye Emma Jedi’s ‘Sin’ was definitely one of my favourite tracks of 2012. Based in London, Eye Emma Jedi is made up of 3/5 Norweigan members, Alexander Pavelich, Andrew Murray and Andreas Reiten Westhagen and 2/5 Brits Joe Willis and Dan Croll. They met at Liverpool’s Institute of Performing Arts (cheers Macca).

The band are currently recording their debut album in Spain, you can follow their exploits on their Facebook page. So what are you waiting for ? If the download button isn’t showing up, just click through to Soundcloud.

Download: Allie Bradley – Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

AllieBradleyBannerI just had to share this with you, we’ve been getting used to people doing Christmas covers and putting their own stylings on them since, well, forever. This cover by Belfast’s Allie Bradley is something quite special and features a fantastic vocal performance. She takes this Christmas classic and makes it into a track and performance many top female vocalists would kill to have in their repertoire. Must check out more of her material!
